The Progressed Moon by Declination

In addition to the familiar cyclical motion around the chart, we move through another dimension. Declination reveals the vertical dimension motion of height and depth. In this lecture, we’ll review the motion through the seasons: Cancer (summer) is at the northernmost declination, and Capricorn (winter) is southernmost. In particular, we’ll follow the Progressed Moon as it rises and falls in a 28 year cycle, spending 7 years in each “season.” The dimension of declination provides indispensable insight to our evolution as we all go through the peaks and valleys of life.

The Astrology of Awakening
on Sunday 19 May in Zeist
This lecture will address the core of The Astrology of Awakening approach.The focus will be on the two central energies of the astrological system, the Sun and Moon. We will review them conventionally, pertaining to personality and gender, then explore them from a much deeper spiritual context. We will discuss the Sun and Moon in terms of spiritual maturation — moving through levels of consciousness towards soul realization. Just like a child, we all begin spiritually less mature and conscious (Moon) in our soul history. From this foundation, we develop karmic patterns and habits (Lunar Nodes) which stem from these early experiences. Ultimately, we may grow into our more awakened selves (Sun), blossoming into our potential. The material will be applied to participants’ charts in the workshop portion of the day.
